Does a nock adapter effect the Spine?
«

I ordered 4 finished GT Hunters, with nock adapters. I didn't really know what they were, so clicked ok.
Then I ordered a single GT hunter to bareshaft. However, I forgot all about the nock adapter....
Well, now I know what a nock adapter is and its metal with weight, so must effect the spine.
How much extra should I take off the GT Hunters with nock adapter, after I have bareshofted the arrow without a nock adapter?
Sorry for the complication.... I am getting so many things wrong as a beginner...
Cheers

Hey Alex.
Yes, an adapter will have en effect on the spine but I don`t think it´s gonna be a dramatic one. Most probably you won´t
notice it at all. So don´t worry - just shoot

Nock Adapter ? Like this :
http://www.bogenladen-leipzig.de/onlineshop/GoldTip-Nockadapter
?
Or do you mean a Pin Nock Adapter ?
But i second Bazi: nothing to worry about, äs a beginner you make more mistakes in the form that will effect your axcuracy than the minor Spine change in the arrow ..

They are GT trads 3555 with 125 grain tips and these bloody great big nock adapters... Oh welll, atleast they are the correct spine this time...

Supposed, the weight of the adapter is about 20grain, the effect on the spine is about plus 5
